Edison College’s Backyard BBQ and Cosplay Event
On June 24th, Edison College Canada hosted a Backyard BBQ and Cosplay event at the picturesque Metchosin Arts and Cultural Centre in Metchosin, BC. The event brought together students, staff, and the local community for a day of food, exciting activities,sketching and cosplay creations. This unique gathering brought together aspiring artists and cosplay enthusiasts to explore the art of capturing the essence of characters through sketching. Under Adam’s (Instructor, Illustration Diploma at Edison College) expert guidance, participants delved into the world of cosplay, honing their sketching skills and uncovering new techniques to bring these vibrant characters to life on paper. The event was a wonderful opportunity for attendees to embrace their creativity, learn from a seasoned professional, and connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for both art and cosplay.
