Melanie Wing graduated from the Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) course at West Coast College of Healthcare in 2010. She then completed the Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2016. Melanie worked as a medical lab technician until 2021.

A passionate enthusiast of the outdoors, Melanie finds joy in hiking, nature walks, running, and weightlifting. She feels a compelling need to immerse herself in nature at least once a day, finding it essential for her well-being.
